In June, 2008, I had the opportunity to travel to Japan through the Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher Program. I traveled with 160 teachers from the United States to learn about Japanese education, government, and culture. This was the trip where I caught the “travel bug”. Since this life changing trip I have been unable to stop thinking about where I can go next and what other adventures are out there waiting for me.
